· Create an upgrade plan to move the back-end data from Foxpro to SQL Server.

Designed and maintain a Web Server application using
Visual FoxPro and West-Wind Web Connections CGI Server. This app uses server and process objects to
generate dynamic HTML documents. Travel
agents use this site to query and book tours to the Caribbean and Mexico.
I created the www.GwvVacations.com (has since been sold to Apple Vacations)
website and the entire tour operator system that supports the data on the site
and the in-house reservations and accounting system behind it.
· Redesigned sales, operations, marketing, pricing, costing, advertising, and reporting systems after migrating them from FoxPro Dos 2.6 to Visual FoxPro 6.0.
· Involve users from upper management to create financial analysis reports and income projections.
· Work with market analysts to develop a FoxPro interface that allows price manipulation in Excel and real time price updates to reservation agents and external travel agencies.
· Create a hotel and vendor accounts payable system that guarantees that the lowest negotiated costs are paid for each night and reservation. This system handles tens of thousands of bookings each year.

· Created a custom Visual FoxPro 8 data entry application to keep track or products, jobs, customers and payroll for this Corian countertop installation company. The Countertop Shoppe’s Leominster location is Dupont’s top producing showroom in the country.
· Email invoices and quotes directly from the job screen, output customer data to word for mail merge.
· Import existing data, create reports and work with users to create a customized application.

Created a Visual FoxPro 6.0 utility that allowed
managing room and asset inventory datasets.
The data was read from palm pilots, error checked, and displayed in a
Foxpro form. After generating Sybase
SQL commands, the data was uploaded to Sybase in an iterative process.

Used Visual Foxpro and Excel automation to read asset
and inventory data from existing excel spreadsheets and upload it to Sybase.
· Created Visual Foxpro expense reporter that takes expense data from the default palm pilot expense app and fills a pre-formatted Excel spreadsheet. Worked with sub-contractors to create a Satellite Forms data collection program for the palm pilot.

· Managed the consolidation of 26,000 employee payroll records from Sodexho and Marriott into an existing third system. Involving several months of data validation, the result was a 100% success.
· Worked on a three-person team to develop a Field Services System for Sodexho U.S.A.

· Managed a team of programmers to support 100’s of commodity traders on a Novell network.
· Designed a data entry system that is used for the NECX Internet shopping service.
